Study and research in Veda, Thanthra, Jyothishyam and Sanskrit, at the Narayaneeyam campus in Ballapadavu.
Since 23 February 2014
Having established its music school at Perla, the Prathishtanam extended its interest towards studies and research related to Vaidic and Thanthric vidya. As another milestone, the Vaidic-Thanthric Vidyapeetam was established under the Prathishtanam on 23 February 2014, and inaugurated by Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamiji of Sri Sharadapeetam, Sringeri.
It was founded so that the richness of the Vedas is retained, protected and passed on in its original form — a place for study and research, not for recitation alone. Four subjects are taken up here: Veda, Thanthra, Jyothishyam and Sanskrit.
Classes run for about twenty hours each month for interested students, at the Narayaneeyam Music Campus in Ballapadavu. Eminent persons in the field have given their valuable guidance to what remains a singular centre for Vaidic and Thanthric studies in north Kerala.
Inaugurated by Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamiji of Sri Sharadapeetam, Sringeri.
Founded to retain and protect the richness of the Vedas and to carry them forward in their original form.
Classes in all four subjects are conducted for interested students at Ballapadavu.
